About

I've never stayed in one place for too long, whether in the mountains of Kazakhstan or the winding streets of Europe. I want to share my experiences with anyone who loves travel as much as I do, especially those who are looking for a different perspective.

I live just outside of Washington, D.C. but have many other places I call home, including Rome and Almaty.

One of the most rewarding trips I've experienced is my exchange program to Nuremberg, Germany three years ago, where I met so many new people and was completely immersed into a unique culture. That exchange was one of the factors prompting me to create this blog.

Some of the places I've had the chance to visit:

  • Kazakhstan: Almaty, Semey, Baradulikha
  • Switzerland: Geneva, Basel, Lausanne, Montreux, Zurich, Gruyeres
  • Germany: Berlin, Munich, Nuremberg, Ingolstadt, Oberstdorf, Bamberg, Freiburg
  • Ireland: Dublin, Donegal, Galway
  • U.K.: London
  • France: Paris, Chamonix, Saleve, Gruyeres
  • Turkey (when I was about 3, if that counts...)
  • Jamaica: Montego Bay
  • Italy: Rome, Florence
As you can see, there is still a lot left for me to see! I'm slowly checking places off one-by-one...
